Luke Jacques

Luke has been working in the offshore renewables sector since 2010, during this time he has developed expert insight into European and international offshore wind development projects.

He is skilled in the design, analysis and project management of complex wind farm projects with multiple stakeholders. This includes fixed bottom substructures and foundations for offshore high voltage substations and wind turbine generators and, more recently, floating wind substructures.

Luke is an offshore engineer whose experience covers the full project lifecycle including: consents and early feasibility studies; geotechnical site investigations and advanced laboratory testing; concept through to detailed foundation design; independent certification; fabrication support, installation risk mitigation and support; and in-situ monitoring and life extension assessments.

Luke has a strong commercial ability coupled with excellent management and leadership skills, developed through working on a variety of multidisciplinary projects with high profile clients. As our Bid Manager, Luke leads the proposals team to deliver top-quality tender responses.

In addition, Luke provides quality, health, safety and environmental leadership within projects and across the company. He is responsible for defining and developing strategies and plans to ensure compliance with established codes, standards, regulations, policies, procedures and contractual requirements.
