Melvin is a structural engineer with over 11 years’ experience in the offshore wind, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors. He specialises in the analysis and design of offshore steel structures with a broad-ranging experience across greenfield and brownfield projects.

Melvin has delivered a range of engineering projects on behalf of consultancies and EPC contractors, from the structural analysis of fixed and floating installations to the design of topside modules and integrated decks. He currently leads the design of platform deck structures, connections and associated steelwork detailing for offshore substation support structures.

Melvin’s experience of multidisciplinary project engineering, procurement and construction enables him to operate as a project manager, responsible for engineering coordination, budget management and stakeholder liaison to deliver technically complex projects.

In addition, Melvin leads our business development and marketing initiatives to achieve the company’s business objectives.
