On 21 November 2024, Inch Cape Offshore Limited hosted a webinar titled "Fixed Foundations for the Future – XXL Monopiles and Deepwater Jackets," drawing nearly 500 participants. Industry experts presented on advances in offshore wind foundation designs.

Nick Terry, Associate Director at SLPE, discussed deep-water monopile designs for the Inch Cape offshore wind farm. Working with Geowynd, his team extended monopile applications to greater depths to reduce project costs and advance energy transition goals. Nick noted that monopiles remain the most cost-effective foundation choice for fixed offshore wind farms, and he welcomed their adaptation for deep-water installations.
