We are thrilled to announce that Sam Lawes, who joined SLPE as a Graduate Engineer in 2011, has climbed the ranks and recently been promoted to Head of OSS Substructures.

“Sam’s expertise in the design and analysis of jackets and monopiles for offshore substation platforms has grown consistently over the years”, said Joe Hilton, Director of SLPE. “It has been a pleasure promoting him to Head of OSS Substructures, a position that he has thoroughly earned. I am now looking forward to seeing all that Sam will bring as we go forward, with our refined focus on the renewable energy market”.

Sam has a wealth of experience across both renewable energy and oil and gas projects. He is highly conversant with international and European design standards, including country-specific requirements such as the BSH standards that govern German wind farm developments.
