We are delighted to welcome Ahmad Abasi to our team, who has joined SLPE as a Junior CAD Designer – WTG Foundations.

Ahmad is a trained Civil Engineer certified in AutoCAD and Revit, with 5 years’ experience in the civil engineering industry both in the UK and internationally.

Ahmad joins us after 12 months at Costain Services Limited, where, as an AutoCAD Technician, he prepared a range of 2D CAD drawings and 3D models for property development projects in the UK. Prior to this, he gained valuable experience over four years at CAKIRYAPI Construction & Road Construction Company, progressing from Site Civil Engineer to Project Coordinator working on USAID projects in Afghanistan. He had previously worked as a part-time Site Engineer and CAD Technician at Latifi Construction Company for two years.

By applying SLPE’s typical focus on process optimisation and automation to our CAD procedures, in combination with rigorous attention to quality, we can offer quick and efficient drawing and modelling on our projects. Ahmad will be a key part of that capability going forward, bolstering SLPE’s ability to push the boundaries of offshore engineering and innovation.
