We are thrilled to announce the arrival of three exceptional talents to our engineering team at SLPE: Mirco Morrone, Engineer II; Mehtab Azhar, Engineer I; and Michael Edwards, Project Engineer II. Their addition brings our team to an impressive total of 35 members, reflecting our substantial growth in recent years and our reputation as a leading force in offshore renewables.

Michael Edwards brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record from his previous roles, including significant stints at DORIS UK and the British Pipeline Agency (BPA). Michael’s expertise in project engineering, cost management, and stakeholder relations, paired with his dedication to meeting regulatory standards and enhancing team performance, makes him an invaluable asset to our team.

Mehtab Azhar, with his advanced degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois and broad experience with the DORIS Group and Rowan Williams Davies and Irwin (RWDI), specialises in the structural aspects of offshore wind turbine foundations and other significant infrastructure projects. Mehtab’s proficiency in a range of engineering software and his innovative approach to structural challenges enhance our capabilities in delivering cutting-edge solutions.

Mirco Morrone, a Chartered Structural Engineer, graduated from Polytechnic of Bari and has demonstrated versatile expertise in temporary works and contractor roles, specialising in FEA analysis for both steel and concrete structures. Mirco’s ability to adapt to civil market demands and his hands-on experience in various international projects will greatly contribute to our diverse project needs.
