#SLPEshoutout “ Inch Cape Offshore Limited

We started our journey with Inch Cape Offshore Limited in 2020 when we were invited onboard to develop Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm’s foundations. Our support began with a concept design, delivered in 2020. This was followed by a time of concept design refinement, which took place for the most part in 2021. We are now in process of developing the detailed design.

It has been a real privilege offering our support to Inch Cape Offshore Limited , said Melvin Lau, Business Development Manager at SLPE. The team at Inch Cape is made up of hard-working visionaries who are striving for the best, and it has been rewarding to join forces with them.

We have offered Inch Cape a considerable level of flexibility, performing a variety of engineering studies to inform key project decisions during concept refinement phase, providing technical support, inputs, and documentation to support tenders (including foundations supply, foundations transport and installation, and cable installation to name a few), and working with Inch Cape and its supply chain to manage technical risks.

Another aspect of our collaboration is health and safety. We have enjoyed working with Inch Cape and its contractors to ensure our foundation designs fall in line with the CDM 2015 regulations. SLPE has acted as ˜Designer’ to Inch Cape, producing designs to eliminate or reduce risks to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP), and to incorporate risks that cannot be completely eliminated into the overall project Health and Safety File. At the project’s recent Hazard Identification (HAZID) workshop, we had a productive time capturing multi-party inputs and risks associated with fabrication, transport and installation, operations, and maintenance .
