Sustainability is at the forefront of our thinking. Everything from our business conduct to the outputs we deliver utilise environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable solutions. With this in mind, we asked our team for their thoughts on sustainability at SLPE. This is what some of them had to say:

“Sustainability is part of our identity”, said Joseph Hilton, Director of SLPE. “Our specialised knowhow and technical innovations, combined with our holistic approach, means we can offer our customers designs that are environmentally conscious, cost-effective, and practical for fabrication, transportation and installation”.

“Our biohut cages for Hollandse Kust (Noord)’s offshore substation (OSS) substructure, which replicate the ecological function of a shallow water nursery, are an excellent example of our innovative approach towards sustainability”, said Sam Lawes, Head of OSS Substructures. “These cages are designed to help support the biodiversity of the marine offshore environment and play an important role in preserving and restoring the health of our oceans”.

“Everyone at SLPE is committed to maximising our sustainability performance”, said Ibrahim Kadri, Project & Structural Engineer. “As a leader in the design and delivery of offshore substructures, we have a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on both our industry and society – we intend to set a positive example for others to follow”.

We are committed to creating value for our clients while also preserving the health of our oceans with our efficient, cost-saving, environmentally friendly offshore substructure designs. Please get in touch to find out more.
