We are delighted to let you know that Tom Horsley, who joined SLPE in May 2020, has now been promoted to the position of Senior Engineer and Software Developer – congratulations, Tom.

Tom has 11 years of experience in the renewable energy and oil and gas sectors and has a wealth of expertise in the structural analysis, concept and detailed design of offshore wind turbine and substation support structures.

Since joining us, Tom has become an expert in automating complex problems to improve the efficiency of the engineering within SLPE. He has been appointed as the lead engineer for accidental limit state and fatigue limit state analysis of offshore support structures and is the lead developer of our various in-house analysis software.

Tom has been instrumental to the success of our Hollandse Kust (Noord) OSS and Hollandse Kust (west Alpha) projects and has played a key role in developing our new SMERF technology. If you would like to know more about our SMERF technology, please click here.
